The Post
This role is a multi-skilled flexible role with the objective of providing an unrivalled level of customer satisfaction. This covers all operational needs of the business from food preparation, food service and delivery as well as supporting tasks such as cleaning, shopping, driving, delivering, setting-up events and planning.
The position is located in Sheffield and locations where the company is carrying out events and remote production from time to time
The PJ taste Business
PJ taste's objective is to be the caterer of choice in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. We prepare a wide range of food from scratch each day using as much locally sourced (and our own grown) produce as possible.
In 2023 PJ taste is transitioning to an Employment Ownership Trust which will operate the business for the benefit of the staff allowing tax free bonuses to be paid.

Job Description
Salary
The role is based on a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, although there is opportunity to discuss part time variants. The hourly rate is £9.50 per hour for people over the age of 23 (rising to £10.42 in April 2023). Working usually over 5 days out of 7 (i.e. weekend work particularly Saturdays will be expected). A bonus scheme will operate to distribute profits.
