Spotlight on our local artisan partners supporting our Christmas Hampers
One of our overriding core values is building strong local purchasing partnerships. This is reflected in the talented Sheffield and Derbyshire producers and makers who contribute ingredients and high quality food and drink for our gift hampers. Here are some of their stories.
As the second most drunk liquid the in world (after water) we think its important to make sure you drink the finest available particularly if sending to a friend or loved one as a present. This is where these guys come in with their huge level of experience selecting and blending the finest leaf teas. We feature their Batch Breakfast in our Sheffield Firmly Favourite Hamper.
Another Sheffield success story, Frazer started roasted coffee on his kitchen table in 2014 and the aromas drifting down the street some spawned a new business. His hand buit coffee roaster features the best Sheffield Steel (of course).
With an array of National and International awards under their belt this craft distiller is located just a few miles from our Derbyshire plot. We love the use of local foraged ingredients and our favourite is the Grain Artisan Derbyshire Blue. It is favoured along with the traditional gin botanicals with blackberry, mint, blueberries and butterfly pea flower! The spirit is featured in our Hamper from Derbyshires Rolling Moorlands and in our Derbyshire Gin and Friends Hamper.
Woodthorpe Hall Cider
We have been catering for weddings at Woodthorpe Hall for over ten years. A big bonus of any visit there is the amazing cider and of course the larger than life figure of Dick Shepley who makes the cider using the original press. The Hall dates in part back to 1630 so this is a true heritage brew. The Spinning Jenny has a clean authentic cider flavour coming from the high quality local apples.
